Hellewell Pasley & Brewer provides mediation services to individuals and businesses in an attempt to resolve disputes through dialogue between the parties assisted by our accredited mediator Mr Richard Whitaker. The vast majority of cases are settled through mediation at a fraction of the time and a fraction of the expense involved un pursuing the dispute through litigation. The other beauty of mediation is that the parties remain in control of the negotiations throughout. In court proceedings the control passes over to a Judge and the Judge can only order certain remedies whereas mediation is extremely flexible and can bring about settlements and compromises to disputes in an imaginative way not provided for in any court of law.
