Solicitors Ashton Morton Slack adds spice to Sheffield life
Sheffield-based law firm, Ashton Morton Slack (AMS), has successfully negotiated a 16-year lease on an Ecclesall Road commercial property which is already shaping up to become one of the north’s most talked about restaurants.
The Spice Market Cafe is the brainchild of award winning Sheffield-based chef Richard Smith and his company BrewKitchen, aimed at tapping into Britain’s love affair with spices by providing exotic dishes influenced by cuisine from far-eastern countries such as China, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
Building work is already at an advanced stage and the restaurant, situated at 371-373 Ecclesall Road, is on target for a late November/early December opening date.
“It’s a great deal for a fantastic piece of property in what has to go down as a prime Sheffield location,” says Richard Larking of Ashton Morton Slack.
“We wanted to ensure that it went through as quickly as possible so that the restaurant could open its doors well before Christmas. Thankfully that has happened and we look forward to seeing the Spice Market Cafe in its finished version.”
BrewKitchen director Simon Webster adds: “This is a really exciting concept, one we are convinced will go down extremely well with lovers of exotic cuisine for miles around.
“We’d like to thank Ashton Morton Slack for ensuring that the deal went through smoothly and quickly, enabling us to forge ahead with building work and preparations for our grand opening.”
