Skipton Law Firm Mewies Solicitors Continues To Expand
Mewies Solicitors has appointed experienced conveyancing Legal Executive Helen Akroyd to boost its property team. Helen, who became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1998, joins the firm with more than 11 years’ experience gained handling house purchases and sales in Leeds and Bradford. She deals with all aspects of the conveyancing process including preparing Home Information Packs (HIPs), sales, purchases, remortgaging and transfers of equity.
Partner Ian Armstrong who heads up the conveyancing team along with fellow Partner Christopher Jackson said, “We are delighted to welcome Helen on board. She brings with her considerable experience and a full skill set for meeting the needs of our conveyancing clients.” Helen’s appointment brings the total number of staff employed by the firm to 22.
