Robert qualified in 1976 and has been a partner in the firm since 1981. His early experience covered the whole range of legal work including conveyancing, family law, wills and other areas. He had a particular interest in employment law. He also spent 12 years specialising in criminal law.

As one of the first to realise the importance of management to the quality of service that law firms can offer, Robert took on the role of Managing Partner in the mid 1980s. He continues in this role and is committed to keeping the firm up-to-date, and managing the overall operation of the firm’s diverse practice from its six offices.

Robert’s legal work now concentrates on personal injury in which he acts for claimants who have suffered injury from road traffic, workplace, or tripping accidents. He recently acted for a claimant in a major case involving a settlement for over £3m. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
