Amanda qualified in 2008 and now works in areas of Private Client work including Will preparation and estate planning, Estate Administration, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work. Amanda also deals with conveyancing matters ancillary to Estate Administration.

Amanda advises on personal taxation in particular Inheritance Tax planning.  She has dealt with the creation of charitable trusts and is able to advise upon the appropriate vehicle for clients considering lifetime gifts for the purposes of estate planning.  Amanda also advises clients on managing their finances through Powers of Attorney and assists families and carers with Court of Protection applications where a client has lost capacity to manage their own property and financial affairs.  She is also able to offer guidance to people who are contemplating the funding of residential accommodation.

Amanda acts on behalf of several local farmers to advise on estate planning, Inheritance tax planning and estate administration.

Amanda is an Associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly which is a national organisation of lawyers who are committed to providing and promoting robust, comprehensive and independent legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their family and carers.
