David Grimes
Position: Partner

David has been a partner in the firm since 1981. He specialises in complex Court cases concerning children, particularly where Social Services are involved. He has been a member of the Law Society’s specialist Children Panel for more than 15 years.
He is regularly appointed to act for children in care proceedings and is increasingly asked to act for children who are separately represented in Court proceedings between their parents for residence or contact. He also acts for parents and other family members involved in cases of this sort, including where one or more of the parties is under a disability and represented by the Official Solicitor.
He has experience of working in the Family Proceedings, County and High Courts and usually conducts his own advocacy.
