Sara Rogers

Position: Partner

Sara has extensive expertise in advising individuals on their personal affairs, including tax and wealth protection, the creation of wills and trusts and administration of estates. She deals with all aspects of advice concerning wills including inheritance tax, tax planning and business succession, specialist wills for those with disabled dependants, trust preparation and other succession issues.

She provides a full probate service and advice to the elderly generally, including enduring powers of attorney and managing the legal and financial affairs of those who cannot look after themselves. She has extensive experience of the workings of the Office of the Public Guardian and supporting or becoming the deputy for those who lack mental capacity.

After qualifying in 1976 in Nottingham, Sara joined Clarion in 1997 becoming a partner in 2002. She is a founding member of the Solicitors for the Elderly in Yorkshire and in 2001 she was appointed by the Office of the Public Guardian to be an external deputy for the court. She is a trustee of St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds.
