Susan Vesely
Position: Assistant Solicitor
Following gradution from Leeds University with a degree in law, Susan qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and then joined Hellewell Pasley & Brewer where her father Douglas Brewer was the Senior Partner.
Susan has over 25 years experience as a specialist family lawyer and is Head of the Family Law Department of HP&B. She is an accredited specialist with Resolution (Formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and a member of the SRA Family Panel and the SRA Children Panel. She is also an Accredited Collaborative Lawyer. Susan is a trained family Mediator and has held a Legal Services Commission Family Mediation Franchise since 1999. Susan is also a member of the SRA Mediation Panel and a member of the Family Mediation Association.
Susan is a past President of the Dewsbury & District Law Society and a member of the local Soroptomists Club. In her spare time she enjoys fell walking, swimming, cooking, theatre and travel.
