Simon Lockley
Position: Partner
Simon represents businesses and individuals in all types of litigation, ranging from complex contractual disputes to shareholder and partnership claims. Other areas of his work include professional negligence cases, defamation and defending directors threatened with disqualification proceedings.
Simon was born in Leeds, attending Leeds Grammar School and then the University of East Anglia, where he obtained his LLB (Law).
He trained with Dibb Lupton Broomhead and was admitted as a Solicitor In 1993 specializing in contentious insolvency cases.
With hlw since 1995, Simon became a partner in 2002 and headed the Dispute Resolution Department. In the Legal 500 he has been recognized as being “highly rated by clients” and for his role as head of hlw’s “first class dispute resolution team”.
