Vanessa Fox
Position: Partner

Vanessa has been practicing family law for over 21 years. Areas of expertise include: substantial assets in divorce, children’s cases, including acting for children with guardian, cases involving disabilities – particularly Multiple Sclerosis - and challenging cohabitation and trusts of land issues.
Vanessa has wide experience, skill and interest in mediation and has had many years of involvement with Resolution, the former Solicitor’s Family Law association as well as recently acquiring a new skill as a collaborative lawyer.
Since 1991 she has been head of the family Law team at Keeble Hawson – a department that has now expanded to seven highly skilled lawyers, with specialities across all areas of family law.
Vanessa’s work is typically characterised by sensible and practical advice that supports a speedy and pragmatic resolution.
Educated at Tadcaster Grammar School and latterly at Downing College Cambridge, where she obtained a First Class degree in Law, Vanessa then stayed in the City training at Hewitsons.
Married with two boys at secondary school Vanessa has also been involved for many years with the educational movement and children’s charity Woodcraft Folk that was established in 1925.
