Peter Byrne has held the Higher Rights of Audience (All Proceedings) qualification since 2006 appearing in Crown Court both alone and led by Counsel. Peter is a specialist in fraud and regulatory work. He has experience of defending in the full range of criminal offences from motoring offences to murder and has conducted a large number of complex publicly funded cases. He is also a Police Station and Court Duty Solicitor. With a wealth of experience of regulatory matters, Peter has represented both individuals and corporate clients in prosecutions by VOSA, OFCOM, DTI, Trading Standards and HM Revenue and Customs. He has also appeared as advocate at a Public Inquiry before the Traffic Commissioner. Peter is also experienced in licencing law and can advise on the full range of applications, reviews before licensing committees and appeals. Peter is based in Leeds.
