David Barraclough

Position: Partner

David has more than thirty years experience as a practising solicitor and has specialised in commercial property throughout his career. David has acted for a wide range of commercial property clients, including numerous public quoted companies, focusing particularly on property management, property investment and property development. David is a firm believer in the importance of building up a close working relationship with clients.

After training with Last Suddards (now Hammonds LLP), David has been based in Leeds since qualification. He was an equity partner with Booth & Co (now Addleshaws Goddard LLP) for fourteen years and was a partner with Denison Till and Lupton Fawcett LLP, which are both Legal 500 firms. David has a diploma in Planning and Environmental Law and is the immediate past president of The Leeds Law Society.

David enjoys cycling and walking and tries to escape to the North York Moors when the confrontational relationship he has with his garden permits. He also sits on the planning committee of Leeds Civic Trust.
